Baiba Auria is a Manchester based artist specialising in traditional (oil) and digitally painted portraits. Baiba is partially sighted from birth which led to an early interest in art and photography which made the world around her easier to interpret and became a crucial lens through which she could see. Seeing that you could play with the visible surface information in front of you to create a unique, new and a very personal image, containing your idea of an essence of a thing or a person, or even just an aspect of something, leaving things out, changed her life - visual image creators, artists, seemingly saw things with more than just eyes and were kin.
